Nothing much new happening around here lately. We're counting down the days until we go to Colorado to see Cory's brother, Nick and his family. Everyone is very excited. 8 more days! We were hoping to tour the Mint in Denver while we were there at Logan's request, but all the tours are booked the entire time we're there. :-(
It is beautiful here today. 73 right now. It about killed Cory, I know, not to be able to ride his motorcycle to work this morning. His cut off is 40 degrees and it was about 41. Unfortunately, it needs gas and a battery put on it before he can ride it. I have no doubts that it will be ready by tomorrow! Cale, Luke, and Elyse are outside in the back yard right now. Luke just came in to tell me that 'Elly Kate needa you help get down'. Which translated means - Elyse is on the crow's nest of our fort and can't get herself down. She refuses to let the Cale or Logan help her - probably a good choice since they'd both most likely end up on their rumps. :-)
Things have gotten noticeably easier with Luke and Elyse over the last month or so. They are less messy, can be trusted for longer than 5 minutes without direct supervision plus they are really talking now so it's so much easier to understand them.
Logan has been working hard writing a book with two of his friends with the help of a mom to enter the Scholastic Kids as Authors contest. They are nearing completion which is a good thing because the boys are losing steam and the nice weather is arriving. It will be so exciting and rewarding for them to see it all come together, though.
Cale is nearing the end of his preschool days with just about two months to go. I registered him for kindergarten in February. I was sadder than I thought I'd be. I just can't imagine that he's old enough to go to kindergarten in the fall...my sweet cuddly little boy.
