My parents were down for a visit last Sunday so we took the opportunity to get a family photo before we headed off to church to listen to all four of the kids sing their praises to God. At this point in our lives with children ages 8, almost 6, 3 and 3, this picture is about as good as it gets!
One of our fall traditions is making caramel apples. We didn't get it done before Halloween this year, but enjoyed them the day after. They were even better this year because we made them using apples from the apple tree in our backyard. YUM!
Cale lost his first tooth on Halloween Day. It had been loose for a very long time. Unlike his big brother, he pretty much left it alone and let it come out on its own. He was eating a pixie stick when it finally came out. He was thrilled! He forgot to put it under his pillow the first night, but remembered the second and the tooth fairy rewarded him with a gold dollar coin.
