A new low!

We've reached a new low in our house...I just installed a child proof lock on the refrigerator door. I went upstairs earlier and found Luke and Elyse at the kitchen table with popsicles. I'm pretty sure there are no doors left unlocked where they can cause trouble. Hmmm...wonder how many days until they prove that statement wrong. :-)

Logan is home from school today with a fever and a headache. We've had a great morning. I can see that he's started to feel better as the morning has gone on. Seems like this year, he's been hit the hardest with the brief viruses that are around. Thankfully, we haven't gotten anything that has lasted more than a day. (I'm knocking on wood right now!)

It's been a busy three days of party festivities for us. Cale turned 5 yesterday so we had his big family party on Sunday, a special dinner last night, and then his friend party is tonite. His friend party is at the Playground for Kids and he's 'sharing' the party with a good buddy who has his birthday on Thursday. It worked out great because we could split the cost of the facility rental plus because they have so many of the same kids on their invite list, parents only needed to get the kids to one party instead of two during this busy time of year.

I'm printing our Christmas Card bookmarks out right now. I like to be thinking about it before Cale's birthday, but wait until after that to get them mailed out. Hopefully, I'll get them printed today so Cory can cut them apart at work tomorrow and get them in the mail by the end of the week.
