Snowed in

We're on our fifth snow/ice/cold weather no school day of the year. As of right now, the boys will be in school until June 3. We've had a pretty low key day around here. Some game playing and unexpected book shelf cleaning this morning About mid-morning, Logan came running downstairs to tell me that Luke and Elyse had cleared every book off of Luke's book shelf and the books were in a heap in the middle of Luke's room. When I got upstairs to survey the damage, Luke and Elyse were hiding (and giggling) in Luke's closet. I had been thinking not that long ago that it was probably time to clean some of the board books off Luke and Elyse's book shelves and store them or donate them. I guess today was the day for that!

This afternoon the kids and I watched Jumanji while Cory worked from home in his office in the basement. We all enjoyed the movie - especially Logan. It has been a long time since I've seen it so I'd forgotten most of it. Cale and Elyse liked it, too. Luke tried to convince Cory to stop working and come upstairs to watch with us when it first got a little scary then he took a short nap. When he woke up, he watched some, but spent a fair portion of the time under the blanket because it was too scary. :-)

Logan and Cale are busy building a fort in the basement with old moving boxes and cardboard blocks. Luke is pretending to be Spiderman. Not sure where Elyse is or what she's up to...never a good sign! Better go check on her.
